It’s been a long time since our last newsletter. I’ve been very busy filling clients’ orders and supplying Australia, New Zealand and Belize with our FLUSH-IT® Septic Energizer. There has been an increased interest in Medicinal Mushrooms, especially Lion’s Mane and Chaga. And since HGH is becoming impossible to obtain, our Blue Dragon Velvet Antler is filling the gap. HGH (Human Growth Hormone) is converted into IGF-1 in the pancreas, so the IGF-1 in Velvet Antler is eliminating the “middle man” (HGH). Besides being much safer, Velvet Antler also supplies other Growth Factors and NGF (Nerve Growth Factor).

These are just a few of the many projects which keep us busy. The advantage of being small is that we can offer personal customer service, provide immediate solutions to any client problems and you are dealing with a Scientist with 7 years of college and over 30 years experience. CELL PHONES and CANCER – new studies are in

Cell phones and microwave ovens emit non-ionizing radiation that does not affect DNA. This implies that cell phones do not cause cancer by damaging DNA.

A 2005 Turkish study showed that long term exposure to RFEMF (Radiofrequency Electromagnet Fields) from cell phones could increase free radicals in the brain, possibly raising the risk for brain cancer.

A new study at Sweden’s Orebro University examined the medical records of two groups – those who used cells phones and those who didn’t. They also did 16 case-controlled studies comparing healthy cell phone users to cell phone users with cancer. All of the subjects used cell phones for 10 years or more and lived in the US, Denmark, Japan, Finland, Sweden, Germany and the UK.

The research produced the following results:

a) Most of the studies showed a link between cell phone use and risk of tumor formation.

b) Several studies showed that cell phone use increased the risk of malignant gliomas-cancers of the cells that protect nerve cells.

c) Several studies found a link between cell phone users and a higher rate of acoustic neuromas-a benign tumor of the auditory nerve, which often results in deafness and balance problems.

d) Tumors are more likely to occur on the side of the head where the cell phone is used.

e) One hour of cell phone use per day significantly increases the risk of tumor formation after 10 years or more.

Good news – today’s cell phones emit less radiation than the phones of the 90s.

Bad news- cordless phones present about the same risk in the development of malignant gliomas and acoustic neuromas, children have the greatest risk because their skulls are thinner and their brains are still growing, and the American Cancer Society says about cell phones and cancer, “This represents a legitimate area of scientific controversy and should not be dismissed as myth”.
